Anna Kipervaser


Anna Kipervaser is a Ukrainian-born multimedia artist pursuing her MFA in Experimental and Documentary Arts at Duke University. She holds a BFA from the Art Academy of Cincinnati. Her work spans multiple disciplines including experimental and documentary moving image works in both 16mm film and HD video, Anna is also a painter, printmaker, curator of exhibitions and programmer of microcinema screenings showing works from international filmmakers. In 2008, she founded On Look Films with Rodion Galperin. CAIRO IN ONE BREATH is Anna’s first feature film which she directed and produced. Anna has been the recipient of numerous grant awards and residencies including support from the George Sugarman Foundation, Darmasiswa Scholarship, New York Studio Program, the Wilder Traveling Scholarship, Foreign Language Area Studies Fellowship, and has recently been nominated for a Kodak Cinematography Award. Through her art practice, Anna works to help bridge the cultural gap between the Middle East and the West, increasing awareness and dispelling misconceptions.

Rodion Galperin


Rodion Galperin is a Belarus-born Chicago based designer and Creative Engineer. Educated in all disciplines of design with a solid foundation in print and digital media. Conceptual design and interaction consultant on various projects focusing on innovative UI & UX design and multimedia platforms that became a lecture and presentation series at universities, art centers and museums across the country including MIT – Massachusetts Institute of Technology, DePaul University – Chicago and Art Academy of Cincinnati. He has served as independent contractor working on national advertising campaigns with Fortune 100 & 500 companies and with independent musicians, artists, and filmmakers to engineer innovative design strategies that support their unique individual vision and projects. Rodion holds a BFA in Graphic Design from Columbia College Chicago and a BFA in Multimedia & Web Design from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago. In 2008, he founded On Look Films with Anna Kipervaser. He is enthusiastic about his move into film, wherein he is working to make a relevant impact through his expertise in interactive multimedia, design, and photography. Rodion has worked on numerous short films in roles of cinematographer, editor, and co-producer, CAIRO IN ONE BREATH is his first feature film on which he is co-producer and creative engineer.

Scott F Busch


Scott F. Busch is currently finishing post-production on CAIRO IN ONE BREATH, his third feature-length documentary in his role as co-producer and editor. Scott is an award winning filmmaker based in Chicago who specializes in editing and motion graphics. He has four years of professional experience with editing documentary and narrative films. Scott graduated with honors from Columbia College Chicago in 2009 with a BA in film and video post-production. He recently co-produced and edited a feature-length documentary entitled I AM A VISITOR IN YOUR WORLD that premiered at the 14th annual Woodstock Film Festival, and won first place at the Athens International Film + Video Festival. Scott has been in various post-production roles such as editor, motion graphics artist, online editor/colorist, and post-production coordinator on films that have debuted at other festivals including the Chicago International Film Festival, Slamdance Film Festival and more.
